Fall is here and so are these gorgeous colors from Pantone! Marsala, Oak Buff and Reflective Pond are three of my favorite fall colors chosen this year. These shades of autumn reflect the possibilities in a living space or in your closet. A touch of tribal and ethnic spices all make up this Runway to Rooms Polyvore board below. The deep green jeweled teal called Reflective Pond will be a beautiful choice for bringing pop to a room. Marsala is a clay red that will heat up your closet and bring on the romance to any dining or interior room in the home. And who could forget the color of wheat bales drying out on farm land. The honey glow of Oak buff is nothing more than earthy and organic.
Marsala was a shock to many when Pantone decided to make it the color of the year. Not too many were pleased but as we have gazed upon the many shades this rich hue has to offer, we have grown incredibly attached. Not only will it give you the deep berry eye catching colors to your outfits but your indoor spaces will love the deep saturated color it brings as well. Marsala looks great with denim blues, turmeric yellow and soft oatmeal shades.
Oak Buff is a soft yellow beige neutral that will be a perfect basic color for living spaces. This Sunbrella outdoor pillow is made with solution dyed acrylic fibers which makes it fade and mildew resistant. A great choice to custom cushions in or outside the home.
If you want your wardrobe to sparkle add this Oak Buff hue to shoes, Cardigans or accessories for a pretty soft autumn glow.
Reflecting Pond is similar to teal yet with a deeper green added to the pigment. It looks great coupled with gold, oak buff or chartreuse just as you see in the Polyvore room below. It’s striking color will give your home a major overhaul. Unlike Oak Buff you will want to be bold in a room with large furnishings upholstered in this gem or go very low key by adding only tiny touches to a neutral room.
